Our first butterfly emerged from its chrysalis today during Block 1. We had noticed changes in the appearance of a few chrysalises and wondered what this change in appearance meant. Students were busy investigating pulleys when one student noticed the butterfly. We hope the others will emerge soon!
Students in Mrs. Payseur's classes use their art skills to create comic strips to demonstrate their understanding of point of view. Students chose a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd person point of view and created a story to illustrate by employing narration and dialogue.
The Scholastic Book Fair will be at Muller Road Middle School from Friday, September 25 to October 2. Starting making your reading list now! Ms. Atkinson's classes will be going Monday, September 28, and Mrs. Payseur's classes will be going Friday, September 25. You can also go any day before or after school or during advisory time. Every student will sign up for one club. Click here to see the list of club opportunities. Clubs will be held once per month on a Friday during school.
On Thursday, students will remain in their homeroom classes to complete MAP testing for ELA. Please ensure your child arrives to school Thursday with a fully charged Chromebook.
